SPOILERS AHEAD! The following article contains major spoilers for “The Power of the Doctor,” Doctor Who’s third installment and Jodie Whittaker’s final appearance as the Doctor.
Last Sunday (10/23/22) was the last time that Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor would take stage as a new Doctor Who was set to emerge from the regeneration cycle. However as fans were eagerly awaiting the emergence of Ncuti Gatwa (the newly announced Doctor), the show introduced a twist….the Doctor “tagged in” was none other than the tenth Doctor David Tennant!
How is this possible? Normally when the Doctor regenerates he becomes a completely different person! Well Whovians, all I can say is that in the world of Doctor Who….anything is possible (even regeneration of clothes…lol)!
After the episode aired, it was later revealed that both the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) would be returning for three special episodes for the show’s 60th anniversary! So sit back Whovians and watch what happens next…because it sure sounds like it’s gonna be a lot of fun!
