What an exciting week we had in Hawaii! Category 4 Hurricane Lane was making its way toward the Hawaii Island Chain causing heavy rains, flooding, road closures and emergency services. A state of emergency was declared that closed the government, businesses and yes – The Amazing Comic Con Aloha!

Fortunately for Hawaii, Hurricane Lane was downgraded from a Category 4 to a Tropical Storm. And although Lane was now only a storm, the islands still felt its effect with a downpour of heavy rains. Most unfortunate was the effects that Hurricane Lane had on the State’s weekend activities.
Thankfully Hurricane Lane did not stop these heroes from going into action at the cancelled Amazing Comic Con aloha.
