Katherine Anne “Kitty” Pryde was one of the Xavier’s school earliest recruits. Recruited at the age of thirteen, she was the youngest X-men at the time.
Over the years she would change her superhero name from Sprite to Ariel. Then later Shadow Kitty to Shadow cat. At one point in her history she became Starlord…..
In addition to the X-men, she was a founding member of Excalibur and has associations with Shield and Sword as well as Guardians of the Galaxy.
Besides her mutant power of phasing, Kitty is a genius in the field of applied technology and computer science. Also a skilled pilot, she has flown several vehicles including interstellar spaceships. And thanks to her possession by the Ninja Master Demon Ogun she acquired hand to hand martial arts combat training.
She is often accompanied by her pet dragon Lockheed, and was most recently engaged to Peter Quill aka Starlord.
