She had an older brother named Orestez Natchios that saved her life when she was a child – It was at his insistence that she get trained in self defense.
Years later, Elektra becomes a highly trained assassin. Her weapon of choice? A pair of bladed sai.
Elektra is the love interest of Daredevil, however her dual nature (assassin/mercenary) keeps them apart.
