Fox’s show “The Gifted” has done it again.\u00a0 In their episode “Imprint” they teased at a major villain coming to the series.\u00a0 For those of you that did not catch the reference, Creed Financial is a reference to Victor Creed aka Sabretooth.\u00a0 However, it is NOT Wolverine’s nemesis that they are referencing…instead it is his son – Graydon Creed.<\/p>\n
Graydon Creed is the son of Sabretooth and Raven Darkholme (aka Mystique).\u00a0 Graydon was conceived after Mystique had seduced Sabretooth while impersonating a german spy.\u00a0 Later, after giving birth to Graydon, Mystique gave him up for adoption.<\/p>\n
It is important to note that Graydon Creed is NOT a mutant, despite being the child of two mutants.\u00a0 He later discovered his heritage and began to resent all mutants – partly because it was mutants that abandoned him and partly because he himself was NOT a mutant.\u00a0 As a result, he founded the Friends of Humanity (a mutant hate group) and ran for president on an anti-mutant platform.\u00a0 He was nearly elected as President of the United States when he was assassinated on the eve of the election which led to the Operation Zero Tolerance crossover event.<\/p>\n
