It\u2019s been an interesting season for Fear the Walking dead (FWD).\u00a0 Morgan (Lennie James) joined the group this season literally walking onto the FWD from AMC\u2019s 1st<\/sup> zombie apocalypse show the Walking Dead (TWD).\u00a0 With writers of the show doing a time jump to merge timelines between the two shows.<\/p>\n

This season added five new characters to the show: Althea (Maggie Grace) \u2013 the journalist, John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt) – the friendly ex-cop, June aka Naomi aka Laura (Jenna Elfman) \u2013 the nurse , Wendell (Daryl Mitchell) \u2013 wheelchair bound survivor and Sarah (Mo Collins) \u2013 ex- marine and adopted sister to Wendell.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that Fear the Walking dead is not as popular as its AMC counterpart \u2013 The Walking Dead.\u00a0 It could be due to the initial premise behind the show wherein they focus on the fall of humanity and the rise of the zombie apocalypse.\u00a0 It later seasons, they focus more on the survivors and their lifestyles than on their original theme.\u00a0 This is probably why the writers decided to do an entire reboot the series with Morgan from the Walking Dead and changing up the entire scenario.<\/p>\n

To recap the season, it begins with Morgan distraught over events from TWD.\u00a0 He then decides and leaves Alexandria journeying to Texas.\u00a0 His self-excursion eventually leads him to a few new characters that eventually meet up with the surviving group of FWD.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The reboot worked.\u00a0 The beginning episodes of the season were quite good.\u00a0 Flashbacks were dominant among the characters, morales of the survivors were explored, and character development were all portrayed in the first set of episodes.\u00a0\u00a0If this was not enough to keep the audiences captivated, Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) is killed by Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) a young girl that betrayed them to a scavenger group known as \u201cthe Vultures.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the mid-season finale Madison (Kim Dickens) dies \u2013 sacrificing herself to save her colony (although we never really see her die). Which is why the surviving members of the FWD group are hunting their nemesis \u201cthe Vultures.\u201d\u00a0 All survivors eventually merge together as a group after the shootout at the stadium.<\/p>\n

After the mid-season finale, the writers attempted to solidify the group.\u00a0 Using a hurricane that separated the group, the following episodes focused on their adventures in finding each other.<\/p>\n

Eventually the group reunites, and they decide to stay where they are and build a new community of survivors\u2026.where the show will go from here we will find out next season…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
