Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock was a British born supporting character created in 1976 by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe.\u00a0 She was a regular in her twin brother’s (Captain Britain) adventures.\u00a0 Originally presented as a precognitive, her character was later revised to include telepathic powers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

She first joined the ranks of the X-men in New Mutants Annual #2.\u00a0 She was abducted by Mojo and Spiral, brainwashed and fitted with bionic eyes and is rescued by the New Mutants.\u00a0 She takes up residence at the Xavier school (which was run by Magneto at the time).\u00a0 After aiding the X-men team “unofficially” with Sabretooth, Betsy is formally invited to join the X-men.<\/p>\n

She joins the team on several missions and during the Fall of the Mutants\u00a0 storyline becomes one of the members of the X-men team that was presumed dead closing the dimensional breach.<\/p>\n

After her journey through the Siege Perilous, Betsy Braddock is amnesiac and is found by the criminal organization known as “The Hand.”\u00a0 Using science and magic, the Hand transforms her into her current Japanese ninja incarnation….<\/p>\n
