Barr, Len Wein and Joe\nStaton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1612\" width=\"407\" height=\"570\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar3.jpg 685w, https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar3-214x300.jpg 214w, https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar3-600x841.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike other Green Lanterns who become chosen by the ring upon\ntheir predecessors death, Arisia\u2019s family members inherit the ring.&nbsp; This is explained in the comics (Blackest\nNight: Tales of the Corps #3) when it is revealed that all the previous ring\nbearers were in her family tree.&nbsp; (Her\nFather Fentara and Uncle Blish were the Lanterns of their space sector\n2815)&nbsp; Arisia was selected as the recipient\nof the ring after her Uncle Blish gave his life serving the Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1611\" width=\"421\" height=\"547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar4.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar4-231x300.jpg 231w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 421px) 100vw, 421px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally inheriting the ring as a teenager, Arisia subconsciously\nused the ring to transform her teenage body to a young adult woman. &nbsp;This was due to Arisia\u2019s crush on Hal\nJordan.&nbsp; Though Hal Jordan did not return\nArisia\u2019s affections at first, he eventual came to terms with her as an adult\nand the two did date for a time.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"634\" height=\"381\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar2a.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1614\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar2a.jpg 634w, https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar2a-300x180.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hicollector.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ar2a-600x361.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arisia served as a member of the Green Lantern Corps until\nher death at the hands of Guy Gardner (Guy Gardner: Warrior #43 published June\n1996).&nbsp; However, she had NOT really\ndied.&nbsp; In actuality, her alien body had entered\na natural state of healing and regenerating.&nbsp;\nThe Cyborg Superman knew this and brought her body to Biot (homeworld of\nthe Manhunters) and used her as a power source along with many other Green Lanterns.&nbsp;
